Fresh News is a theme with many different advantages over others. Perhaps the most important aspect to why I decided to review this theme was because of how multifunctional it is for blogs. Bloggers have praised many themes in the past, but I’m almost positive many will be switching to Fresh News in the near future (probably after this review).
Unique Features of Fresh News theme
When it comes to themes intended for blogs, most of which I have reviewed do not have the unique features that are included with this premium Wordpress review from WooThemes. Here are some of the really useful ones:
- The option to choose from three different layouts. This is something that you will definitely find helpful when trying to distinguish your blog from the rest.
- You also have the option to have a traditional blog layout if you choose to do so. This is provides a little bit freedom that many others do not.
- A common complaint that I have had with themes in the past has been remedied with the implementation of extended author profiles.
- Finally, 8 beautiful color schemes allow you to make your blog look just how you like.

Of course like all of the great WooThemes I have reviewed, Fresh News also includes many other great standard features that are always a bonus.
- Automatic Image Resizer function makes creating images and thumbnails easier than ever.
- Integrated Theme Options for customization of color schemes and page layout.
- A built- in video panel is perfect if you plan on utilizing flash videos.
- Built-in gravatar support for comments and authors
- Custom page templates for image gallery, sitemap, and archives
- Integrated Banner Management scripts allow you to quickly and easily take advantage of displaying randomized ads throughout your site.
- Fully widgetized sidebars are great for offering your visitors a little something extra.
- Drop down navigation throughout the site provides a clean and smooth feel.
Why Use Fresh News?
There are many different themes that are available for bloggers these days. However many of them do not provide enough customization capability in order for them to be effective. The Fresh News theme was one that I thought might fall into this same pattern. However it has proven to be extremely functional. I’m not surprised one bit that so many have been starting to use this theme as it is definitely one of the better options for bloggers.
In fact, I have now started personally recommending this theme to bloggers that ask for my opinion. There are simply not many flaws, if any. Anyone looking for a powerful theme for creating a their blog will surely be impressed with the functionality of Fresh News and its ability to produce a truly gorgeous looking blog site.
